Screencasting, for those that do not know, is an invaluable tool for making video tutorials. Essentially, screencasting applications record a video of whatever you're doing on your computer with audio. You can narrate the procedure of whatever you're trying to show someone, sometimes making it a bit easier than writing out a list of steps and menus to follow. The downside to screencasts is that if you do not accompany your lesson with written material, you will not be able to quickly search through text for an answer. Here is an example of one I made to show how you can sync web albums in Picasa.
